The Story Behind Adult IQ

Adult IQ was built from the ground up with one goal in mind: to give people access to the knowledge and practical guidance that can make a real difference in their lives.

My name is Todd Grego, and I started Adult IQ because I know firsthand that life doesn't come with an instruction manual. We're expected to know how to manage money, build careers, navigate relationships, make financial decisions, raise families, and plan for the future. Yet many of us are left to figure these things out on our own, often learning the hard way.

Looking back on my own life, there are plenty of things I wish I'd known earlier. Better information and the right guidance could have helped me make certain decisions with more confidence and avoid mistakes along the way. That experience got me thinking: what if people had somewhere they could turn to for straightforward, practical information before they found themselves facing those same challenges?

That question became the foundation of Adult IQ.

As a father of three sons, I've also experienced the college and professional baseball pathways firsthand. One of my sons is a professional baseball player, another plays college baseball, and my youngest has recently committed to play college baseball as a high school senior. Getting to this point has involved years of learning, research, decisions, and navigating a recruiting process that can be confusing and overwhelming for families. I've seen how much the right information can matter, and how difficult it can be when you don't know what you don't know.

That experience reinforced something I believe applies to every area of life: having the right information at the right time can change the decisions you make and the opportunities you create for yourself.

I built Adult IQ to bring that kind of guidance into one place. I've invested countless hours researching, developing, and organising practical guides, handbooks, and resources covering the real-world topics people face every day. From money and personal finance to careers, business, relationships, parenting, technology, and protecting yourself from costly mistakes, the aim is to make complicated subjects easier to understand and put useful knowledge within reach.

I'm not going to pretend I have all the answers, and Adult IQ isn't about telling people how to live their lives. It's about sharing valuable information, helping people understand their options, and giving them a stronger starting point when important decisions need to be made.

Every resource inside Adult IQ has a purpose: to help you learn something useful, make more informed decisions, and feel better prepared for what comes next.

This is a genuine project that I've built with a clear vision for what it can become. Adult IQ is designed to keep growing, with new resources and information added over time so members have an expanding library they can return to as their needs and circumstances change.

I know what it's like to wish you had someone to point you in the right direction. My hope is that Adult IQ can be that resource for others — whether you're starting out in life, raising a family, building a business, planning your future, or simply trying to make smarter decisions.
